This is just one of the many ways the fox and the hound can become friends.

morning azan

I think all of that coupled with all of the other holy vibrations from other faiths must make the universe very happy. Just think ,24 hours all year long of holy vibrations. The calling does not stop,it goes on 24/7 all over the planet. There is a miracle of sorts associated around the "Azan". When I asked my son-in law if it was in accordance with Islamic law to use the audio portion of this story I found out another interesting fact. sway your mind, you will miss out on so much beauty that you should have been open to. I have to say I believe this is the truth. We usually only hear the word terrorist in conjunction with Islam but I have the cred to tell you ,it is only a tiny fraction that the media has built up into a vast overblown sea.Īnytime you can peel away layers of societal garbage until you are able to see clearly and not judge another you will be able to witness such beauty ,your imagination can not even fathom.I feel so lucky to experience this every day in the dark silence with love and not hatred in my heart.I beg you all ,do not let the media, government etc. A culture that produces this sound and the words of prayer that begin after the call has to be one of supreme beauty. It actually happens 5 times a day but it is this one that I notice and feel the most. There is no denying the holy vibration of this sound. It is called the "Azan",the Islamic call of the Muezzin to prayer.

I must go outside and stand in the dark silence just to witness its full holiness. It occurs just after I finish my Buddhist chanting or maybe I have timed my chanting to its rhythm. When my children were babies and they heard it ,it was as if they were in a trance, that is how intensely beautiful it is. It is so ethereal it becomes an addiction. I think I've said I live in Northern Israel surrounded by Arab Villages,a wonderful benefit. Here is why(well one reason): I am privileged to hear every morning around 4:30 am one of the most beautiful ,holy and otherworldly sounds one can ever hear. I want to tell you all a beautiful story of something you probably will never hear in any context.
